About
010 Editor is a toolkit for working with both text and binary data. On the text side, it offers real-time syntax parsing with Tree-sitter, support for over 45 syntaxes, unlimited undo, column mode editing, huge file support (50 GB+), and Auto-Recovery to help keep data safe.
For binary work, it goes beyond raw hex display by using Binary Templates to parse files into a hierarchical structure that is easier to understand and edit. Templates are written in a syntax similar to C/C++ structs, can be run automatically when files open, and can be shared through an online Template Repository. The site also lists disassembly for several processor architectures, file comparison, checksum and hash algorithms, a scripting language with a debugger, and drive editing for NTFS, FAT, exFAT, and HFS volumes.
010 Editor is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, with a free 30-day trial and paid licenses for commercial and home/academic use.
