Ableton Live Intro

About

Ableton Live 12 is a music production app for making music in your own way. The text highlights its creative features, including new MIDI tools: MIDI Transformations for reshaping patterns, MIDI Generators for creating melodies, chords and rhythms, Keys and Scales for working within a selected scale, and keyboard and mouse editing tools with a Note Utilities panel. It also supports tuning systems beyond 12-tone equal temperament and more flexible modulation.

Live 12 also adds new instruments and effects. Meld is an MPE-capable synthesizer with two oscillators, an extensive modulation matrix and Macro Oscillators for complex waveforms. Roar is a saturation and coloring device with three saturation stages and configurable routing, and Granulator III offers expressive granular synthesis with real-time audio capture. Packs such as Lost and Found and Performance Pack are also mentioned.

Live 12.4 is a free update for Live 12 users that brings Link Audio and updated devices. Live Suite can be rented-to-own over 24 monthly payments.
