Agent! is a native Swift 6.4 / SwiftUI app for macOS 14.6 or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel. It connects 23 LLM providers, including Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Ollama, and LM Studio, plus on-device Apple Intelligence, to an autonomous task loop. According to the website, it can read a codebase, fix bugs, build Xcode projects, commit changes, control Mac apps through the Accessibility API, run AppleScript, JXA, Swift, and shell commands (as the user or as root), send results over iMessage, and respond to a spoken "Agent!" command.
The project is free and open source, with no subscription, no telemetry, and no Electron or NPM dependencies. Users bring their own API key, run fully local models, or use Apple Intelligence.
