About
AirSync is a macOS app that brings macOS continuity to Android, as described on its project page. It requires macOS 14.5 or later. Optional integrations use scrcpy, adb, and media-control, which can be installed with Homebrew.
The app includes a Share menu extension that sends files to AirSync's existing Quick Share transfer. Images and videos are copied to the app group's cache first, and text and web links are sent as text files. Files shared through the extension are cleared from the cache after 24 hours. Folders are not supported by the current file sender. Users enable the extension in System Settings under Extensions and Sharing.
The project is open source and is built in Swift and SwiftUI, with a Share extension, a widget, and documentation available in the repository. The developer does not build a Windows version but points users to a separate project, Sefirah, for that platform.
