Alfred is an award-winning macOS app designed to boost your efficiency with hotkeys, keywords, text expansion, and more. It lets you search your Mac and the web, and take custom actions to control your Mac, so you can launch applications and find files without lifting your fingers from the keyboard. Alfred learns how you use your Mac and prioritises results accordingly.

To save typing, Alfred offers Clipboard History, which lets you find and paste previously copied text, images, or files, and Snippets, which auto-expand short abbreviations into longer text. With the Powerpack, you can build and import workflows that link hotkeys, keywords, and actions together to automate repetitive tasks, without writing code. Alfred also integrates with macOS to control your music player, act on files and contacts, and run system commands.

The core of Alfred is free to download and use, while the Powerpack unlocks features such as workflows and themes. Alfred Remote for iOS, sold separately, lets you use an iPhone or iPad as a command centre for your Mac.
