Android Studio Preview (Canary)

About

Android Studio Preview (Canary) gives developers early access to the latest features and improvements in Android Studio. The page highlights Canary and RC features, with release notes available for Canary and RC releases, and notes that you can install multiple versions of Android Studio preview side by side with the stable release.

The website also offers an archive of all Android Studio release downloads and a way to report bugs, ask questions, and share feedback. Users can additionally sign up to take part in user research studies that influence how Android tools, APIs, and guidance evolve.

The current download is listed as Android Studio Rabbit 3 | 2026.2.3 Canary 2, but the page indicates that downloads may not be available if the device is not supported, and directs users to the system requirements. Downloading requires agreeing to the Android Software Development Kit License Agreement.
