About
Anka is a macOS virtualization product for enterprise iOS and macOS teams. It provisions ephemeral macOS virtual machines for CI/CD, whether on-premises, in managed hosting, or on AWS EC2 Mac. The core product, Anka Build, uses the Anka Controller for central dashboard management, queueing and load balancing across nodes, the Anka Registry for distributing versioned VM templates, and Anka Build Nodes that run on Apple hardware. It integrates with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab Runner, TeamCity, Buildkite, and Azure DevOps, and offers REST APIs and an MCP server.
Anka also positions its disposable VMs for isolating AI coding agents. Anka Crypt clones a prepared base VM for each session and runs an agent unattended inside it, while Anka MCP lets agents request and manage VMs through a small fixed set of operations. Per-VM firewall rules, host and LAN isolation, offline modes, and VPN routing through the host are provided to limit what an agent can reach.
Anka can also run multiple macOS VMs on a single AWS EC2 Mac instance, letting one dedicated host run several isolated build environments. The vendor offers support directly from its engineers over Slack or email.
