Anki

About

Anki is a flashcard program that helps you spend more time on challenging material and less on what you already know. It organizes flashcards into decks so you can study specific parts of your collection, and when you review a card, you rate your recall and Anki schedules the next review for when you're most likely to forget the information.

Anki supports audio, images, videos, and scientific markup in flashcards, and lets you customize flashcard layouts and review timing. It can handle decks of 100,000+ cards, and its free AnkiWeb service syncs your cards across devices. Add-ons can extend Anki with new features and functionality.

Anki is a community project that is open source, and contributors can help maintain it, create add-ons, share decks, or help translate it. The website lists a desktop version for Windows, macOS, and Linux, along with mobile apps: AnkiMobile for iOS and AnkiDroid for Android.
