About

Anytype is a private, secure workspace where everything you create is owned and controlled by you. Data is stored in a vault that is encrypted on your device with keys only you hold, so nobody else can see what is inside. Because account creation can happen offline and sync can run peer-to-peer over local networks, you keep access to your data without depending on a server or gatekeeper, and you can self-host backups wherever you choose.

The app is built for composing content without code. Its block-based editor, along with databases, templates, and widgets, lets you assemble notes and structured information visually. You can organise single objects and connect them, then visualise those connections using graph, table, kanban, and gallery views.

Anytype is offline-first, so your vault works on your device without lag, and it syncs when devices are on the same local network. It is also available natively on mobile for both iOS and Android, supporting touch and scroll interaction.
