About
App Buddy is a free helper app for Sindre Sorhus's own Mac apps. It lets you export and import the settings of those apps to back them up or move them to another Mac, and it can reset their privacy permissions, along with other support tools.
App Buddy is a separate app because some of its features aren't possible in sandboxed apps, which most of Sindre's apps are. It is intended only for his apps; it does not support apps from other developers. For settings import and export for other apps, the website points to his Supercharge app.
App Buddy requires macOS 26 or later, was released in October 2024, and collects no personal data. Feedback and feature requests can be sent through the app's feedback button or the website.
