About
Applite is a Mac app that gives you one place to browse, install, update, and uninstall thousands of apps, including many that have never been on the App Store. Instead of dragging files into your Applications folder or clicking through installer windows, you can install an app with one click, update everything at once with an Update All option, and remove an app along with its leftover settings and support files in a single step.
It also helps when setting up a new Mac. Applite needs nothing installed beforehand, so it can be the first app you open on a fresh machine. You can export your app list from an old Mac, choose what you want, and install those apps together.
Applite uses Homebrew behind the scenes, and it sets up its own copy automatically the first time you open it, so no technical knowledge is required. The app is signed and notarised by Apple, collects no accounts, analytics, or telemetry, and is free and open source under the MIT license. It requires macOS 14 or later.
