About
Aptakube is a native Kubernetes GUI that lets you browse, debug and fix workloads across every cluster from a single window. It works with your existing kubeconfig, requires zero configuration, and is available for macOS, Windows and Linux. Free use is offered for clusters with up to 5 nodes, with all features included.
The app covers day-to-day cluster work: browsing resources like pods, deployments and services with details, YAML and events; viewing CPU and memory metrics next to requests and limits; tagging contexts by team, environment or cloud; and running quick actions such as scale, restart, delete, shell and port-forward. It also includes Helm release management, views for Argo CD and Flux GitOps objects, Gateway API and Karpenter resources, and a diff tool for comparing resources across clusters.
Aptakube is built with Rust and Tauri on the operating system's own webview rather than Electron. The site describes it as small (a 12 MB installer), fast, and local, with kubeconfig, data and logs staying on the user's machine, and it states it works with any cluster reachable via kubectl, including EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift and k3s.
