Aside is a Mac browser rebuilt for people and AI agents. Unlike other AI browsers that stop when work gets complex, Aside works across your logged-in websites and accounts, handling tasks like messages, payments, internal tools, and file work directly. It also offers memory that learns which sites to use for which work, so you don't have to repeat context. Its memory stays local on your device and is never shared.

Aside includes a built-in password manager designed for agents. Credentials are autofilled into websites so the AI never sees them, sensitive actions like payments, posts, and messages wait for your confirmation, and every credential use is logged. Data is encrypted with hardware-backed encryption via the Secure Enclave, and access can be scoped to what each task needs.

For privacy, Aside runs on your device by default, with tasks, memory, and data kept local and not shared with LLM providers. It isolates filesystem and network access in a sandbox, and you can bring your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription or API key.
