About
Atlas is source control for coding agents. Every agent run produces checkpoints that link commits back to the session that made them, along with the prompts, tool calls, and file changes. You can see which agent did what and why, and query that history months later.
Atlas lets you run Claude Code, Codex, Atlas's own agent, or other agents from the ACP registry side by side against the same codebase. Agents share a memory, so a decision made by one agent appears in another agent's next prompt, and switching agents mid-task doesn't mean starting over. Your project notes in .atlas/knowledge/, along with CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md, also feed every agent in the project.
Atlas keeps code, notes, and sessions local by default, with sign-in and organizations available for syncing across a team. It is available as a .dmg for macOS 13+ (Apple Silicon or Intel) and an .msi for Windows 10+ (x64). Linux builds from the same codebase but is untested.
