About
Auto Claude (formerly known as Aperant) is a Mac app that covers the full software lifecycle, from idea to production and ongoing maintenance. You describe what you want to build, and it plans the architecture, breaks the work into milestones, and writes a spec for your approval before any code is written. Human review is built in: you approve at each milestone, can review live previews, code diffs, and test results before anything goes live, and can set approval gates to manual or automatic.
After launch, Auto Claude keeps working on the product. According to the site, it can turn issues from your tracker into fixes, turn feature requests into pull requests, handle dependency updates, and drive roadmap items. Your architecture decisions and coding conventions are stored as persistent project memory, so agents reference them across sessions. The site also describes it as open-source, with over 12,000 GitHub stars, and notes that pricing is still coming soon.
