The Aviatrix VPN Client is a desktop application for connecting to Aviatrix VPN gateways. The Aviatrix VPN solution is built on OpenVPN and, according to the documentation, is the only VPN solution that provides SAML authentication from the client itself. The client gives VPN users a seamless experience when authenticating through a SAML identity provider, and it also supports password-based authentication.

For Mac, the client requires macOS 10.12 (Sierra) or higher. Users who have version 1.4.26 or lower should uninstall it before installing a newer version. The client uses the default browser for authentication, and Safari is not supported because it shows certificate warnings. The download page also provides a checksum for verifying the installer.
