About
Bambu Connect is a Beta tool for Mac that links with Bambu Lab 3D printers and securely transmits sliced Bambu Lab G-code and 3MF files to them. You can log in to your Bambu Lab cloud account to see the printers linked to it, or click Discover to find and connect to printers in LAN Mode. The current Beta also provides basic printer controls, such as axis movement. Liveview is not yet supported.
To print, you import a G-code or 3MF file by dragging it into the app or using the import button. You then choose a plate, select the printer, build plate type, filament, and print options, and click Send to transfer the file and start printing. Once the print begins, you can interact with the printer and view its details. Third-party software can also open the app and import a file through a URL scheme.
The Mac version is available as a beta .dmg for Apple silicon (arm64) and Intel (x86_64). The developers note that the Beta is being actively refined and that additional features and improvements are expected in future updates.
