About
BaoLianDeng is a macOS proxy client built on NETransparentProxyProvider, using socket-level flow interception with dual-path DNS: DoH via the remote proxy for clean resolution, and local DNS for smart rule matching. Its engine, meow-rs, is a Clash/mihomo-compatible proxy kernel written in Rust and shipped as a native xcframework with no external binaries.
The app lets you add, refresh, and switch between proxy subscriptions in Clash YAML or base64 formats, with usage tracking. You can browse nodes with latency indicators, switch proxy groups on the fly, and choose rule, global, or direct mode. Traffic analytics include daily bar charts, session stats, and monthly summaries. Per-app proxying lets you choose which apps go through the proxy or bypass it, using allowlist or blocklist modes and a native macOS app picker.
BaoLianDeng can be installed from the Mac App Store, joined through a TestFlight beta, or built from source with Rust and Xcode. The App Store and TestFlight routes require enabling the network extension in System Settings.
