About
BatchOutput PDF automates PDF printing on Mac. Instead of opening and printing PDFs one by one, you create hot folders configured for different printing settings, such as a color printer at tabloid size or a black-and-white printer at A4 with shrink to fit. Drop files into a watched folder and the app prints them automatically in the background while you keep working. Files can be moved to success and error folders after printing, and every printed file is tracked in History.
The app also lets you add customizable page slugs built from variable data such as file name, print time, and printer name, with separate contents for the left and right sides of the printout. For simpler jobs, Manual mode lets you drop files onto the app and print them with a selected print preset, including printing files sorted by file name. BatchOutput PDF 3 adds slugs based on variable tokens, Manual mode for printing in a specific order, and an improved UI.
BatchOutput PDF is a one-time purchase for a single Mac at $7. BatchOutput PDF Server, priced at $30, adds the ability to create hot folders on network volumes so that unlimited users across a network can submit PDFs from any platform.
