About
BatFi is a battery charge limiter for Mac that lets you stop charging at 80% or hold any limit you choose. Rules can change the limit by time and place, so you can hold 60% at your desk, top up before you leave, or charge fully at the weekend. It also lets you charge to 100% whenever you need it, and it works on macOS Sonoma 14.8 or later with Apple silicon Macs.
Beyond the limit, BatFi exposes readings and controls that macOS keeps out of view: watts in and out, the apps using the most energy right now, battery cycles, temperature, and health. These appear in a customizable menu bar icon, along with a power mode switch you can trigger from the keyboard. BatFi costs $15 as a one-time purchase, covering every Mac you own.
