Beekeeper Studio is a SQL editor and database manager that aims to be modern, easy to use, and good looking. It supports a wide range of databases, including MySQL, Postgres, SQLite, SQL Server, and Firebird, and it is open source.

The app includes a built-in SQL editor with syntax highlighting and auto-complete suggestions for your tables, and lets you organize saved queries and connections into folders. You can browse and edit table data in a spreadsheet-like interface, create tables without writing SQL, and import or export data in formats such as CSV, JSON, JSONL, and SQL. Connections can be encrypted with SSL or tunneled through SSH, and saved passwords are encrypted.

Beekeeper Studio also offers Cloud Workspaces, which sync connections and saved queries across devices and allow sharing them with a team through a shared team folder. Workspace data is described as encrypted at rest and in transit.
