About
BentoBox is a window manager for Mac that lets you draw tiled grid layouts or freeform overlapping zones on your screen. Each display and macOS Space can keep its own layout, and BentoBox switches between them as you move around. You can snap windows into zones by holding Shift or right-clicking while dragging to reveal your zones, or by assigning keyboard shortcuts to individual zones.
When you need more room, you can span a window across adjacent zones or move it between zones without dragging its edges into place. BentoBox requires macOS 14 or later and can be downloaded directly or installed with Homebrew.
BentoBox costs $9 as a one-time purchase with no subscription and works on up to two Macs, with a 14-day free trial available.
