About
Bit Slicer is a universal game trainer for macOS, written using Cocoa and Mach kernel APIs. It lets users cheat in video games by searching and modifying values such as score, lives, and ammunition. Its Memory Scanner can search and narrow down integers, floating-points, strings, byte arrays, and pointers, and it supports adding, deleting, and modifying variables, freezing their values, and tracking changes across a process's virtual memory. A hex-editor-style memory inspection window lets users view and edit memory live, dump memory to disk, and modify memory protection attributes.
For more advanced work, the built-in debugger can watch which instructions access a variable, display live disassembly, and modify instruction bytes directly or by assembling new instructions. Users can set breakpoints, view backtraces, manipulate thread registers, step through code, and inject new assembly on the fly. Cheats can be saved as slice documents to share with others, and scripts can automate tasks involving virtual memory and debugger methods. Bit Slicer runs as a normal user rather than as root, and it supports undo and redo for many changes, including searches.
