About
Bramble is a password manager for macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and browsers that syncs your passwords between your phone, computer, and browser without storing them on any server. Everything is end-to-end encrypted, your vault lives only on your devices, and you don't need an account. Only you can open your vault.
The Mac app is a universal build for Apple silicon and Intel, signed and notarized, and it checks for updates and installs them itself. It is available as a .dmg or via Homebrew, and there is no Windows build yet, though the browser extension works on Windows today. Browser extensions cover Chromium browsers and Firefox and its forks, and mobile apps provide autofill, biometric unlock, and passkey support on iOS and Android.
Bramble's core features include encrypted local storage, peer-to-peer sync between devices, autofill, passkeys, biometric unlock, optional breach checks, and encrypted backups you can export or send to your own cloud or WebDAV storage. The software is open source, with no tracking.
