About
Browser Actions is a macOS app that adds Shortcuts support for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Vivaldi, Chromium, Brave Browser, and Safari. It provides a unified set of Shortcuts actions for managing browser tabs and windows, such as opening, closing, focusing, reloading, and finding tabs, along with actions for interacting with web pages, including clicking elements and links, reading and setting form fields, running JavaScript, scrolling to elements, and simulating keys and typing. Because the actions work the same across all supported browsers, you can switch browsers by changing the target in your workflow without rebuilding it, or target the frontmost browser.
The app requires macOS 15.6 or later and offers a trial of at least 14 days. After the trial, a perpetual license is required, with no subscriptions. Each license includes a 12-month upgrade plan covering new versions released in that period, and can be renewed for another year. Personal and Commercial licenses are offered, and a license can be used on up to four Macs you own and operate. The app is not available on iOS and does not currently support Firefox or Arc Browser, though support for these may be considered in the future.
The developer's stated goal is to make browser automation possible in Shortcuts without requiring scripting experience or external tools. The project is still in progress, with a roadmap of additional actions, and users are invited to share ideas and discuss workflows on the ActionsDotWork forum.
