About
BrowserOS neo is a free, open-source browser built for AI agents to use directly. You can import your logins from Chrome in one click, connect an agent such as Claude Code, Cowork, or Codex via MCP, and hand off web tasks. Agents work in their own isolated tabs, so you can keep browsing in your main browser while they run, and you can run several agents in parallel from a dashboard on the new-tab page.
The app emphasizes transparency: you can watch agents work in real time and replay any saved session as a scrubbable video to see what they did. The site says browsing data stays on your machine, that session history and replays are stored as files on your disk, and that automation uses fewer tokens by working from compact page snapshots and batching actions.
BrowserOS neo is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux, and the site describes it as free, backed by Y Combinator, and open source with over 13,000 GitHub stars.
