Content can be imported from Notion without losing databases or relations, and CSV, HTML, and DOCX files are also supported. Embedded content such as YouTube videos, Figma files, Google Drive items, and Excalidraw drawings can be organized alongside your notes. AI is built into the workspace for instant answers, summaries, and content generation, and it helps you turn scattered notes into structured drafts that can be switched between docs and mind maps for publishing.

For teams, Buildin offers real-time collaboration with inline comments and @mentions, plus tools for managing tasks with custom statuses, boards, timelines, dependencies, and calendars. Organizations that need control over their data can run Buildin on their own servers through private deployment. The product also includes an open API and MCP support for connecting tools and automating workflows.
