About
BusyContacts keeps phone numbers, addresses, notes, and other contact details organized on your Mac. It syncs directly with iCloud, Google, Office 365, Exchange, Fastmail, and other CardDAV servers, so the same contacts appear in the Contacts app on your iPhone, iPad, or other Macs using those accounts. For each contact, the Activity List shows related emails from Apple Mail, events from BusyCal, and social network posts from supported services. You can view contacts as cards or in a customizable multi-column list, and organize them with tags, Smart Filters, and custom fields.
Beyond organizing, BusyContacts can import business cards by dragging them in, including email signatures, and it can generate QR codes from any contact to share vCard information. It links and merges related cards from multiple accounts into a single virtual card, exports contacts to spreadsheets as CSV, and prints envelopes or mailing labels for selected contacts. It also surfaces upcoming birthdays and anniversaries, integrates with BusyCal to link contacts to events and to-dos, and creates automatic local backups of your data.
BusyContacts is designed with privacy in mind. It connects directly to the accounts you choose, with no intermediaries. It requires macOS 12.0 or later, costs $49.99 USD, and offers a free 14-day trial.
