About
Calendr is a menu bar calendar app for macOS. Its standout feature is natural-language event entry: you type an event title together with optional date, time, duration, all-day, and calendar instructions, such as "Pickleball with Tom next Friday from 10 to 12 /sport". Calendr highlights recognized instructions as you type, updates the event fields, and removes the instructions from the saved title. Supported expressions include relative dates, times, durations, "all day", and calendar selection by fuzzy-matching a name after a slash. English and Czech are supported, and the feature can be turned off in Settings.
The app also has some hidden features. It can display multiple timezones in the menu bar using format strings, and it can open a specific date through a URL scheme (calendr://date/...), with limited support for relative dates like today, yesterday, and tomorrow.
Calendr is open source under the MIT license, built with Swift and AppKit/SwiftUI, and uses the MVVM architecture with RxSwift.
