Camtasia

About

Camtasia is a screen recording and video editing app that uses AI-powered tools to help users turn their knowledge into engaging videos. It records your screen, camera, system audio, and microphone as independent layers, so you can adjust and enhance each one after recording is complete.

The editor lets you edit video by editing text: Camtasia, powered by Audiate, automatically transcribes your audio, and deleting a word removes that part of the video. Other editing tasks such as zooms and callouts are described as only a few clicks away, and you can apply custom themes and templates to keep videos consistent. Cursor effects and on-screen annotations are available to make tutorials easier to follow.

The site also notes built-in accessibility features that instantly create captions and translations. Camtasia is presented as an all-in-one platform for recording, editing, and sharing screen-first video.
