About
Capto for macOS is an all-in-one solution for screenshots, screen recording, and image editing. It records your screen in high definition at a smooth 60 FPS with clear audio. You can capture the fullscreen, select parts of the screen, or save a whole webpage in one click.
Capto also includes a video recorder that supports external recording devices, a video editor for refining recordings after capture, and an image editor for annotating and adjusting screenshots. Its dual audio editor lets you edit system audio and microphone audio separately. You can also record an iPhone or iPad screen by connecting it to a Mac running Capto and add a voiceover.
Captures and recordings are placed in folders by default, and you can add custom rules to organize them. You can share files to services such as Facebook, YouTube, and Dropbox without leaving the app, or upload them to your own FTP/SFTP setup. Capto offers a 15-day trial, and continued use requires buying the premium version.
