About
Carbide Create is CAD/CAM software for CNC routers, available in two versions. Create Core is included free with Shapeoko and Nomad machines and provides full 2D design tools (shapes, splines, text, booleans, offsets), pocket, contour, V-carving, and engraving toolpaths, a tool library with speeds and feeds, and 3D simulation. It also supports importing SVG and DXF files, automatic image tracing, and background reference images.
Create Pro includes everything in Core and adds 3D modelling (components from vectors, layered components, textures, heightmaps, and STL import), advanced toolpaths such as 3D rough and finish machining, rest machining, ramping, and toolpath tiling, and standard G-code output for any CNC machine. Pro is offered as a 14-day free trial or for purchase.
