About
Changes is an open source Git client for macOS, built with SwiftUI and AppKit and styled with Apple's Liquid Glass design. It replaces complex command-line Git workflows with a clear, Mac-native interface intended to keep cognitive load low so you can focus on your code.
The app covers common Git operations, including commit (with amend and message snippets), staging by hunk, checkout, revert, branch management, push, pull, merge, tagging (create, push, and delete), and stash apply. Commits can be searched and filtered by message, changed files (added or removed), author, and revision range.
Changes also uses Apple Intelligence to generate commit messages and summaries, and it is available as a download from the project's releases. Version 2.0 and later require macOS 26.0 or later, while version 1.18 and earlier require macOS 14.6 or later.
