About
Chatterino is a chat client for Twitch chat that aims to be an improved and extended version of the Twitch web chat. It supports emotes from Twitch, BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ, and 7TV, offers dark and light themes, and provides a range of customizations such as viewing multiple chats side-by-side in one tab and ignoring or highlighting messages based on your own criteria. It also includes a mentions panel that combines all your mentions in one place, along with notifications when people mention you.
For streamers, Chatterino includes a Streamer Mode that hides user content while OBS is running, and it is designed to be a native desktop application that is easy on CPU and GPU usage. Link previews, including image previews and YouTube stats, are available, though link information is disabled by default for privacy reasons.
Chatterino is available for Windows, Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD. It is developed openly on GitHub, where users can join discussions or report issues.
