About
ChronoSync Express is the entry-level version of ChronoSync. It provides basic file synchronization, backup, and scheduling capabilities at a more affordable price. It can synchronize files between two or more Macs and with iOS devices running InterConneX.
You can back up data to locally attached hard drives, SSDs, or flash media, as well as to file servers and NAS devices. Backups can also be made to disk images, and remote backups to or from Macs running ChronoAgent are supported. Automatic syncs and backups can run hourly, daily, or weekly, or be triggered when volumes are mounted. Helpful assistants guide you through creating backup or sync tasks.
For more configuration options, scheduling capabilities, cloud backups, or higher performance, the website recommends ChronoSync instead. ChronoSync Express has no trial version, but you can try ChronoSync to get a sense of the shared interface. It is priced at $29.99 on the Mac App Store or $9.99/mo on Setapp, and requires macOS 10.14 or newer.
