About
Cinebench 2026 is a free benchmarking tool from Maxon that evaluates a computer's CPU and GPU capabilities using Redshift, the default rendering engine of Cinema 4D. It supports x86/64 architecture (Intel/AMD) on macOS as well as Apple Silicon, and it uses a consistent scene file for both CPU and GPU testing, streamlining the benchmarking process.
The app is intended for anyone who needs to assess hardware performance. Individual computer owners can test their own systems, IT administrators can inform purchasing decisions, journalists can use the results in hardware reviews, and manufacturers can use the feedback to optimize products. Because it reflects tasks common to Cinema 4D and Redshift users, it offers a real-world benchmark rather than a purely synthetic one.
Cinebench is developed in collaboration with hardware and software partners to remain a trusted standard, with results intended to be accurate, transparent, and reproducible. Its rendering technology is also shared with Maxon One products, which include Cinema 4D, Redshift, and ZBrush.
