About
Claudoscope is a free, open-source session visualizer for Mac that lives in the menu bar. It reads your Claude Code and Cowork session files locally, letting you browse and search every transcript, see what each message cost, and get notified when something needs your attention, such as a runaway session, a leaked credential, or Claude waiting on an answer.
Its features include a session viewer with per-message tokens and cost, a Fleet view showing all current and recent sessions across projects, a Trace tab that replays a session on a timeline, cost analytics that reconcile estimates against Anthropic bills, secret detection and configuration health checks, a configuration viewer, and a skills and MCP browser. It also offers one-click security hardening, session notifications, cost alerts, and an optional read-only MCP server for querying your own usage.
Claudoscope runs entirely on your machine with zero telemetry and no network requests, and it is free and MIT-licensed. It can be installed with brew install --cask claudoscope.
