About
CleanShot is a Mac-native toolkit for capturing screenshots and screen recordings. Captures can be saved, copied, or dropped straight into any app, and recordings can be exported as MP4 or GIF with options such as a webcam bubble, click highlights, keystroke display, voice and system audio, and automatically generated smooth zooms. Screenshots can be marked up, redacted, given custom backgrounds, cropped, and text can be copied from images using on-device recognition.
For sharing and teamwork, CleanShot Cloud lets users upload screenshots and recordings to get a link instantly, leave comments directly on captures, and receive automatic transcripts. Teams can add custom domains and branding, and the product lists ISO 27001 security along with SSO, SCIM, and admin controls for larger organizations. The app also includes a capture history for finding and reusing past captures, the ability to pin screenshots above other windows, and scrolling capture for full pages and long content.
