About
ClearBar is a menu bar manager for Mac that hides third-party menu bar icons, leaves Apple's icons alone, and keeps every app in one panel. From that panel you can see how much memory each app uses, and quit an app with one click. Hold the Option key to Force Quit. Hidden apps aren't gone: type a few letters, press Return, and the app's own menu opens. You can also drag an app back into the menu bar to keep its icon visible.
ClearBar also lists running Docker containers with their images and memory use, heaviest first, and lets you stop them with one click. It works with Docker Desktop, OrbStack, and Colima. You can record your own keyboard shortcut in Settings to show or hide your icons from any app. ClearBar follows your Mac's language.
ClearBar needs only the Accessibility permission, never asks for Screen Recording, and includes no analytics or tracking. Memory is sampled only while the panel is open, and your app list and memory readings stay on your Mac. It is a one-time purchase of $5 at the launch price (rising to $7 from November 1), for one Mac per license, with a 14-day refund. It requires macOS 26 or 27 on Apple silicon.
