About
CLion EAP is JetBrains' Early Access Program for its C and C++ IDE. It lets developers try pre-release builds, evaluate features planned for the next release, and take part in discussions that influence development from its early stages. The current beta is build 263.7307.35 for CLion 2026.3, which is available without a subscription. Recent builds in the 2026.3 line have added features such as memory layout visualization for C and C++ classes, structs, and unions; debug profiles stored in JSON with a schema, completion, and validation; more detailed diagnostics for requires expressions; an Inspect This action; an updated bundled CMake (v4.4.2); and warnings for incompatible build, toolchain, and debug profile combinations.
EAP builds are pre-release software and may be unreliable, may not work as intended, and may contain errors. Use is entirely at your own risk. JetBrains asks users to report bugs and suggest features through the CLion issue tracker, and users can download builds through the Toolbox App to receive future updates easily.
