About
ClipBook is a clipboard history app for Mac that runs in the background and remembers everything you copy, including text, images, files and folders, links, colors, and emails. You can paste items directly into the active application, paste multiple items at once with a chosen separator, or paste them one by one in sequence. It also offers tools to merge and split text items, transform text, extract text from images, and paste as plain text.
To keep your history manageable, ClipBook lets you mark favorites, assign tags, set custom names, and edit item content, with sorting by copy time, number of copies, size, or copy sequence. Search covers copied text, text inside images, link URLs and titles, and custom names, and you can filter history by type, tags, or source app. Retention can be set per item type, from a day to forever, and history can be exported and imported between Macs.
ClipBook is customizable, with configurable keyboard shortcuts, dark, light, or system appearance, a pinnable window, optional sounds on copy, and options to launch at login or hide its menu bar icon. It requires macOS 13.0 or later and can be installed via Homebrew.
