ClipGrab is a free downloader and converter for YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, and many other online video sites. It converts downloaded videos to MPEG4, MP3, or other formats in one easy step. ClipGrab for Mac is compatible with all Macs running macOS 10.12 (Sierra) or newer, including Macs with M1 processors.
The website also offers ClipGrab for Windows and Linux, and ClipGrab is a GPLv3-licensed open source project. Supported output formats include MPEG4, MP3, OGG Vorbis, OGG Theora, and WMV, and the original FLV or MPEG4 files can be downloaded without conversion. Supported sites include YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion.
