About
Cloudflare WARP is a free app that replaces the connection between your device and the Internet with a modern, optimized protocol. According to the website, it encrypts more of the traffic leaving your device, which prevents anyone, including your Internet service provider, from snooping on the sites and apps you use. The site states that Cloudflare will not sell your data.
The site describes WARP as fast and reliable, built on the same network that powers 1.1.1.1, which it says is one of the fastest DNS resolvers on Earth. WARP+ subscribers get access to a larger network of cities, which the site says can place them closer to a Cloudflare data center and reduce latency to improve browsing speed. The site also notes that WARP is now available for macOS and Windows, and that businesses can integrate it with Gateway to protect remote workforces.
