About
CloudPouch is a desktop application for controlling and optimizing AWS billing. It runs locally on macOS, Linux, and Windows, and everything happens between your computer and AWS, so your billing data never leaves your machine. You don't need to give CloudPouch access to your AWS account. After installing and entering your license key, the app automatically loads your existing AWS profiles, and you can explore costs by service, drill down to usage type, and filter by region. A single license covers unlimited AWS accounts, and you can switch between profiles quickly.
CloudPouch's Cost Insights scan the resources in your AWS accounts and recommend specific actions with estimated monthly savings. The app flags orphaned EBS volumes and snapshots, suggests GP2 to GP3 and other volume type changes based on CloudWatch metrics, alerts you to Extended Support charges on EKS clusters and RDS databases, detects idle or oversized resources, and attributes Amazon Bedrock spend to teams using IAM principal tags.
CloudPouch is priced per license at $39/month, $399/year, or $679 once, and offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. It is aimed at AWS engineers, architects, DevOps practitioners, FinOps practitioners, and consultants, and it uses read-only access through the AWS profiles you already control.
