About
CMDKit Ultra lets you open apps, folders and websites, and snap windows to regions you draw, all with keyboard shortcuts. It lives in your menu bar and stays out of the way. You can give any app a shortcut to open it or bring it to the front from anywhere, and jump to folders in Finder or pages in your browser the same way, with no limit on how many. Window snapping sends the front window to a left half, middle third, corner or any region you draw on a grid, with Maximize, Center and Restore built in.
CMDKit Ultra is $9.99 as a one-time purchase after a 14-day free trial, with no subscription and no account; the license is checked on your Mac. It runs on macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon and Intel. Window snapping requires Accessibility access, which macOS needs to move other apps' windows; CMDKit Ultra uses it only to read and move the front window's position and size, never to read window contents. Everything except window snapping works without that permission. A Mac App Store edition, CMDKit, offers the same app, folder and website shortcuts in a sandboxed app that never asks to control your Mac, free for five app shortcuts with a $4.99 Pro upgrade, but it does not include window snapping.
