About
Cockatrice is an open source, cross-platform application for playing tabletop card games over a network. Its server design is intended to prevent users from manipulating the game for an unfair advantage. The client also includes a single-player mode, so users can brew and playtest decks while offline.
Getting started involves downloading and installing the app for your platform (builds are listed for Windows, macOS, Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora), opening the Oracle card database tool, and then building a deck in the client or importing one. From there you can playtest offline or connect to a public server.
Support resources include the official wiki, the technical docs, and GitHub for reporting bugs or suggesting features. Discord and Reddit are available for community contact, and the project also invites help with translation via Transifex and with coding through its GitHub repository. The project is written in C++ using the Qt libraries.
