About
Codebolt is a Mac app positioned as a software foundry rather than a coding agent. A foundry runs many agents as one system, scaling across machines, verifying its own work, and closing its own review loops. Users can use the built-in agents or build their own agents and plugins on top, with the goal of building, shipping, and maintaining software autonomously.
The app is offered alongside other surfaces: a CLI for running agents in a terminal, a desktop editor with a coding workspace (editor, terminal, browser, agents, and plugin panels, with a local runtime), a cloud option for managed workspaces and always-on runs, and SDKs (Agent, Plugin, and Client) for building custom agents and internal tools. The site frames the core problems as reliability, coordination, control, and verification, and positions the foundry's runtime, including tools, environments, coordination, and independent verification such as review gates and second agents, as the answer to them.
