About
ColorWell is a macOS color theme generator for macOS 14 and later, from SweetP Productions. It saves every color change to a history, along with the active color and any saved swatches, so earlier color states can be recalled. Palettes can be built from complementary, analogous, triadic, tetradic, or monochromatic colors, or pulled from images, with unlimited swatches and fine-tuning of individual colors.
Colors can be converted between Hex, RGB, CMYK, HSB, HSL, and Lab formats, and palettes can be imported and exported as JSON, Adobe .ase, and Apple .clr files. Imported palettes are added to the macOS color picker for system-wide use. The app also offers Swift and Objective-C color code generation, a 30,000+ color name lookup, dark mode support, an optional menubar mode, and localization for English, German, Dutch, French, and Korean.
