Company Portal is a Mac app that sets up secure, remote access to work emails, files, and apps on your personal Mac. Your device must be running macOS 11 or later. During installation, you download the installer, install the app, and open it from the Applications folder. You then sign in with your work or school account, review the privacy information, and install and enroll the management profile. Company Portal shows a green checkmark when the profile is installed and lists any device settings your organization requires you to change. After you make those changes, you select Retry so Company Portal can recheck your device.

After enrollment, Company Portal helps you maintain secure work access. It notifies you of new policies and requirements and lets you adjust your settings so you can keep working. You can sign in to the app or website at any time to view and manage your device.

If you have problems with enrollment or the app, contact your IT support person. You can send a diagnostic report from the Help menu and email the logs to your support person, and you can send feedback to the developers through Help > Send Feedback. Company Portal is updated through Microsoft AutoUpdate for macOS.
