About
Core Tunnel is a Mac app for managing SSH tunnels. It lets you connect to and monitor numerous tunnels at once, and it is compatible with OpenSSH, supporting local, remote, and dynamic port forwarding, agent forwarding, certificates, and proxy jump. The app integrates with the macOS Keychain for storing passphrases, includes an advanced options editor with contextual help for ssh directives, and can automatically reconnect after network failures or waking from sleep. A menu bar icon lets you control and monitor tunnels without leaving your current window, and tags help organize large numbers of tunnels.
Core Tunnel offers a Free tier, which supports one host and includes OpenSSH compatibility, Keychain integration, automatic reconnect, the advanced options editor, and a menu bar status icon. The Premium tier, starting at $9.99, unlocks unlimited hosts and adds custom tags, importing and exporting, automatic syncing, and scriptability with AppleScript and Automator. The app requires macOS 15.0 or later.
